SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking SAP Cloud Developer to join our enterprise applications team. This role is ideal for a hands-on developer who thrives on modern SAP architecture and enjoys working across the stack — from Fiori apps to BTP-based extensions and S/4HANA Cloud developer extensibility.
 
In this role, you’ll be a technical leader for SAP Cloud development, working collaboratively with functional analysts, integration experts, and business stakeholders to design and deliver scalable, clean-core solutions. You’ll play a critical part in our greenfield implementation journey by developing side-by-side extensions using SAP BTP and RAP-based in-app enhancements in S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and develop custom Fiori/UI5 applications and APIs to extend S/4HANA functionality
• Build side-by-side applications using CAP and SAP HANA Cloud on SAP BTP
• Implement event-driven integrations via SAP Event Mesh and Integration Suite (CPI/iFlows)
• Apply clean-core principles to migrate or rearchitect legacy code
• Use SAP API Management to design and expose RESTful services for internal and partner consumption
• Apply secure development practices including IAS/XSUAA and SAP role-based authorization
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into modern SAP cloud solutions
• Provide technical leadership in cloud architecture, dev modeling, and BTP capability adoption

QUALIFICATIONS

•    Strong knowledge of SAP Integration Suite (CPI/iFlows), API Management, and Event Mesh
•    Deep understanding of clean-core development and extensibility models in S/4HANA Private Cloud
•    Working knowledge of SAP security: IAS, XSUAA, and role-based access control
•    Proficiency in ABAP Objects, CDS Views, AMDPs, OData Services, Extensions, and SAP Gateway
•    Experience in SAP Build Apps/Build Code/Business Process Automation/Build Work Zone

SYSTEMS AND TECHNOLOGY

• 6+ years of SAP development experience, with at least 2+ years in cloud-native SAP BTP/RAP/CAP
• Proven hands-on experience with Fiori Elements, UI5, and CDS-based development
• Experience with SAP Datasphere and HANA Cloud as part of extension or analytics modeling

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

• 4 year degree preferred

LOCATION

• We offer a hybrid schedule for those based in St Louis, Missouri.  Candidates living in Alabama, Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, New Jersey, N. Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Texas and Virginia may also be considered for remote work.
