SUMMARY
The Organizational Learning and Development Specialist is dedicated to the design and development of learning and Organizational Development solutions with a primary capability around eLearning design and development. The role is expected to collaborate with the Organizational Learning & Development team as well as broader HR to assess, design, develop and implement creative talent/learning solutions and respective projects across the enterprise.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Partner with team members across the organization and assess needs by becoming a trusted business advisor using consulting and project management skills.
• Create HR, talent and learning solutions that are simple, engaging and memorable based on research and techniques of new media presentation to maximize learner attention, engagement and knowledge retention.
• Independently and effectively estimate and manage design and development time across complex departmental and corporate projects.
• Evaluate existing media-based learning solutions and leverage content to repurpose into new eLearning solution offerings.
• Follow and continuously improve ECP’s current eLearning development processes.
• Learn and perform administrative functions for our learning management system (LMS).
• Effectively implement talent solutions by utilizing project management and change-management principles.
• Inform and collaborate with team members/HR talent partners to deliver integrated HR solutions as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
• 1-2 years experience using eLearning authoring or animation tools (Articulate Storyline360, Vyond, Adobe Creative Suite, SnagIt, etc.)
• Experience designing and developing new media (video, eLearning, interactive media) with creative editing and design tools in a fast-paced environment
• Candidates must present a portfolio of solution examples (e.g., Storyline360 snippets, graphic assets, etc.) Highly skilled in use of Excel
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, visual communication, instructional technology or related field is preferred. Masters degree in organizational psychology, educational technology, instructional design or instructional technology is a plus.
