About the Practice
The history of Precision Vision, with locations in Oklahoma City, Midwest City, Moore, and Shawnee, dates back to 1981. For over 40 years, Precision Vision has served patients in the greater Oklahoma City metro, Midwest City, Del City, eastern Oklahoma County, Edmond, and Shawnee areas. At Precision Vision we take great pride in the preservation and restoration of vision through comprehensive and surgical eye care. In our mission to provide the best eye care services possible, our eye care team uses the latest techniques and equipment in prescribing glasses and contact lenses and diagnosing the presence of glaucoma, cataracts, age related macular degeneration, hypertensive retinopathy, and many other vision threatening conditions.
About the Position:
We are seeking an Optometrist who can:
- Practice full-scope optometry between 2 locations
- Perform medical eye exams to largely geriatric demographic in predominantly rural area (Shawnee)
- Diagnose, treat, and manage ocular disorders: dry eyes, Meibomian gland dysfunction, glaucoma, etc.
- Provide post-operative care for cataract, oculoplastic, LASIK, and MIGS surgeries in collaboration with ophthalmologists
- Routine vision care: comprehensive vision exams including refractions, contact lens examination, fitting, and follow-up
- Interpret results of ancillary testing: Octopus and Humphrey visual fields, Optovue and Cirrus OCT, Optos, LipiView, TearLab, and iTrace
