The IT - Field Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the End User Computing (EUC) team within their respective market (Missouri and Kansas). This role sits onsite at our Ballwin, Missouri location 4 days/week and ensures the successful execution of IT support, device management, and project oversight. The manager will drive a high standard of customer service, provide coaching and leadership to their team, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align IT operations with organizational goals.
Responsibilities:
Team Management & Leadership
• Lead, mentor, and develop the End User Computing (EUC) team in the Central region.
• Foster a customer-first mindset and drive operational excellence.
• Provide coaching, training, and professional development to ensure a skilled and effective workforce.
• Monitor team performance, set expectations, and ensure accountability for service delivery.
• Act as the point of escalation for complex IT issues requiring leadership intervention.
Communication & Alignment with Leadership
• Cascade corporate IT strategies, policies, and leadership expectations to the EUC team.
• Align local IT operations with company-wide technology initiatives.
• Ensure all communications from IT leadership are understood and executed effectively at the
• regional level.
• Provide regular status updates and key performance insights to senior leadership.
Customer Service & Problem Resolution
• Champion top-tier customer service by ensuring quick and effective resolution of IT issues.
• Manage incident resolution for corporate office and field locations within the Central region.
• Actively engage with end users, business leaders, and stakeholders to assess IT needs and
• expectations.
• Implement strategies to improve user satisfaction and minimize downtime.
Equipment Ordering, Provisioning, & Deployment
• Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of EUC devices (laptops, desktops, peripherals, accessories).
• Manage device procurement, asset tracking, and inventory control.
• Ensure compliance with IT asset management policies and ServiceNow tracking requirements.
• Work closely with vendors to optimize procurement and fulfillment processes.
Corporate Office IT Support
• Serve as the primary IT support leader for the Central region’s corporate office.
• Ensure prompt break/fix support and proactive maintenance of IT infrastructure.
• Partner with the networking and infrastructure teams to support local office technology needs.
Project Management
• Manage IT-related projects within the Central region, ensuring timelines, budgets, and deliverables are met.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors for seamless execution.
• Track and report project progress, identifying risks and mitigation strategies.
• Ensure IT projects align with business goals and drive operational efficiency.
Vendor & Partner Relationship Management
• Maintain and manage vendor relationships to ensure high-quality service and cost-effective
• solutions.
• Work with hardware, software, and managed service providers to optimize IT operations.
• Negotiate contracts, track service-level agreements (SLAs), and ensure vendor accountability.
• Leverage vendor expertise to enhance service delivery and technology improvements.
Qualifications & Skills:
• 5+ years of IT operations or end-user computing experience, with 2+ years in a leadership role.
• Strong understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM), ITIL principles, and asset management.
• Proven ability to lead teams, coach employees, and drive operational improvements.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-first approach.
• Experience managing IT projects and vendor relationships.
• Knowledge of hardware provisioning, device deployment, and enterprise support models.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of leadership
