Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused End User Computing specialist to provide technical support at high profile ophthalmology offices and surgery centers located in the Detroit/Royal Oak market. This role is responsible for delivering hands on support to employees, maintaining device functionality, and contributing to IT service excellence onsite.
Key Responsibilities:
· Provide onsite technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
· Deliver prompt, professional technical support to high-profile ophthalmology clinics and surgical centers, ensuring minimal downtime and exceptional client service.
· Install, configure, and upgrade devices and software.
· Assist with hardware refreshes, upgrades and lifecycle management.
· Manage assigned tickets and resolve incidents according to SLAs.
· Collaborate with other IT teams to resolve problems.
· Provide user training or guidance on applications and systems when required
· Assist with site-based rollouts, upgrades and migrations
· Coordinate with vendors and third parties for support or installations.
Qualifications:
· Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an IT support or end user computing role.
· Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and other enterprise level applications
· Familiarity with endpoint management tools, Active Directory, and remote monitoring and management tools.
· Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work independently in a fast paced, changing environment.
· Customer first attitude with a passion for solving technical problems.
